This week we’ve had three English teachers in our classes. This visit is part of the project “job shadowing” developed by the Education Department (Consejería de Educación). Helen, Sachiko and Sophie –working at Ormiston Victory Academy in Norwich (UK)- wanted to get a closer look at our school, the methodologies that we use in our sessions, the projects that we implement with our pupils, etc.
Moreover, we have taken this opportunity to talk to them in English with students from primary to “bachillerato”. It is about interacting in the foreign language with a native teacher in a real speech context. We have done different activities depending on the level, most of them dealing with the cooperative learning.
